What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Contact forms

When you fill in a form through the Site, we may ask you to provide us with, including but not limited to, such information as:

  • Your name, email address, phone number, social accounts
  • Information related to your employment history, found in your CV, cover letter or similar
  • Other personal information you choose to submit through the form

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

Who we share your data with

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to help us understand how our visitors use the Site — you can read more about how Google uses your Personal Information here:  https://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy/.

You can also opt out of Google Analytics here: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

When you submit information through the Site, we will maintain a record of it unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

What rights you have over your data

Data subjects have a legal right to

  • request access to their personal data from the controller
  • request the rectification, erasure or restriction of processing of their data
  • object, in certain cases, to the processing of their personal data
  • transmit, in certain cases, the data to another system and
  • cancel their consent at any time without this having any effect on the legality of the processing carried out before the consent was cancelled if it was based on the data subject’s consent.

You have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. By doing so, we may not be able to offer you the services we normally would, nor keep a record of your contact preferences — if  you wish to not be contacted by us in the future, our recommendation is to let us know. This way we can keep a record of your contact preferences, and make sure not to contact you if you do not wish so.

If you want to request access to your data, rectification of incorrect information or erasure of your data, or you have any questions about your rights or this privacy statement, please contact us personally or in writing at privacy@talentdesign.guru.¨

Where we send your data

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

Changes

We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.
